Frequently asked questions

Yes. Hosts can keep a record for each rental property in CivicLatch and organize that property’s compliance work alongside it.
Hosts manually enter and track their own requirements and deadlines. CivicLatch does not determine which local rules apply to a property. Hosts should confirm their obligations with the appropriate local authority or a qualified advisor.
Hosts can add owner-provided compliance documents to a property and keep them organized with its records. CivicLatch does not represent those documents as government filings.
CivicLatch compares a property’s saved city and state with verified entries in its admin-maintained city catalog. Only verified matching entries are shown. If there is no match, CivicLatch does not infer or supply a local requirement.
City-specific monitoring and alerts require verified sources and configured email credentials. The current city catalog is maintained by an administrator and is not automatically monitored. An admin review flag marks an entry for review; it does not monitor a source or send an alert.
No. Filing prefill and government submission are not currently available. Hosts must use the relevant government agency’s process for any filing or submission.
